Spring Semester, Winter outfit

Good morning! Long time no see, silly little blog.

Today is my first day back in class! It’s currently 28 degrees in Austin, and while the university has not canceled classes, a good number of professors have taken it upon themselves to cancel their classes today.

Jeez Louise, my hands are freezing as I type this and I’m sitting inside, lol. Honestly, the cold is getting to my brain, scattering my thoughts, so bear with me through this post :3 Today I’ll be talking about my outfit, makeup, and my cold, cold hands.

Ignore my mess- I am just a cute girl… it’s only natural.

But! as I said, it’s in the 20s today in Austin, with a low of 17 and a high of 34, and I left this morning around 11 when it was 21 degrees, so obviously I had to dress the part. Just because it’s cold outside, that doesn’t mean you can’t wear a cute and sexy outfit.

Anyways, the top half of my outfit today is a beautiful blue long sleeve top from Urban Outfitters by the brand Kimchi Blue. It has the most delicate details on the rest, with hole cut outs that I like to pretend are flowers, and a beautiful blue bow to tie at the front. To combat the weather, I’m wearing a black Columbia coat. I can’t find the exact details on this jacket because I bought it last year, but it is SO warm and cute as well. The bottom half of today’s outfit consists of a brown corduroy skirt from Urban Outfitters layered with fleece lined tights. My little feetsies are wearing winter socks from Columbia and the cutest brown Mary Jane Loafers by Madden Girl (thank you mom!!!)

Now, the fleece lined tights that I ordered and linked are more for people with lighter skin, so if you are a woman of color or happen to have more of a tan, make sure to search for ones meant for WOC if the skin matching is important to you. These are a bit too light for my complexion, and while it’s not the most obvious, it is definitely still noticeable. Aside from the skin tone, these tights are SUPER cozy, and honestly, they’re keeping me extremely warm! So I’d say this product is a necessity for any skirt/dress loving gal.

I planned on writing more, but my hands are freezing, my bladder is full, and I’ve got a class to get to! Maybe I’ll write more about my day later, but for now, take a moment to appreciate the simple masterpiece that is my cutie outfit :D

Talk to you later! Bye bye
